APRA-MIDSOUTH

APRA-MidSouth is a chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) for the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.  Our mission is to cultivate an active network of non-profit research professionals by providing opportunities for professional development, continuing education and mentoring in our regional area.

About Board Service:

The APRA MidSouth board of directors is comprised of members of APRA MidSouth in good standing. The board can be comprised of up to eight members. The executive committee of the board, comprised of president, vice president/program director, secretary and treasurer must also be members in good standing of APRA International. Each board member serves a term of not less than one and not more than three years.

Nominations for the board are made during the month of November and voted on in December. A board term is January to December.

Current committees of the board include membership, communications, web design, and education/professional development. Committee membership is open to all APRA MidSouth members.

The board currently meets on the first Tuesday of every month by Zoom for one hour to discuss chapter business.
